Back to Indiana University

I am going back to Indiana University Medical Center tomorrow for more appointments and to have my stints replaced on Thursday.

In addition to Gastroparesis, I have a disease called Spincter of Oddi Dysfunction (SOD).  This is a result of having my Gall Bladder removed about 13 years ago.

I have been suffering from debilitating pain for over a year and did not know what it was.  There was a chance that I had pancreatitis, which is never a good thing.

I was referred to IU to a Dr. Stuart Sherman and he concluded that it is SOD and that I needed to have a stint placed in my bile duct.  Turned out I needed 2!  Guess you can say that I am an over achiever! :)

In case your are wondering, this disease does complicate my Gastroparesis.

On a good note, I tried some new smoothies over the last couple of days from a Gastroparesis Cookbook that have been WONDERFUL! :)  It is the first cookbook out there for people like me.

I had a wonderful time this morning with my Tuesday morning Bible study.  We are doing Believing God by Beth Moore.

I will end with our 5 Statements of Faith:

1.  God is who is says He is.
2.  God can do what he says He can do.
3.  I am who God says I am.
4.  I can do all things through Christ Jesus.
5.  God's Word is alive and active in me.

I'M BELIEVING GOD!

I will be back on Friday!

PS - My wonderful husband, Hugh, said that people who subscribe to this blog are called my G-Peeps! :)  I thought it was cute.
